The Alianza of El Salvador beat Tauro 2-0, with a goal from Colombian Raúl Peñaranda, in the first game of the round of 16 of the 2019 Concacaf League, and will seek in Panama to seal its ticket to the quarterfinals of said competition.
The Alianza, led by the Colombian Wilsón Gutiérrez, was more forceful in the match, dominated the game and was clearly superior to a Taurus who barely reached the goal guarded by the Uruguayan Rafael García.
