New Delhi: The Central Investigation Agency (NIA) is going to write a letter to Iran’s investigative agency and the concerned authority very soon and about three thousand kilograms seized from the Mundra port of Gujarat from the drug smuggling case. The information is about to be sought from the related issue, the way in the last few days, while carrying out a big action by the Indian Investigation Agency (DRI), about three thousand kilograms of drugs with an estimated market value of about Rs 21 thousand crores were sold. Was confiscated, whose connection to Iran came to the fore through Afghanistan. Therefore, in view of the seriousness of this matter, the Indian investigative agency NIA team can demand all the information and evidence from the investigation agency of Iran.

Along with this, the Indian investigating agency can also appeal to the NIA to help in its investigation on this issue. Because the connection of this drug trafficking seems to be directly linked to Iran and Afghanistan. Therefore, through the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this appeal will be informed to the relevant investigation agency of Iran and also to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs there.
What is the investigation of DRI, which was taken over by NIA
According to senior sources of DRI, in September this drug was imported from Kandahar in Sheep from a company named Hasan Hussain Limited. It was told at the time of import that this consignment contained talcum powder, which was claimed to be imported from Afghanistan in the name of talc stones. Which was sent from Bandar Abbas Port in Iran to Mundra Port in Gujarat. According to the DRI official, this consignment of drugs was brought hidden inside the goods imported by Ashi Trading Company located in Vijayawada, Hyderabad, but the special intelligence wing of DRI came to know about the matter after which this operation was carried out. .

During the initial investigation, DRI officials recovered 2,988 kg of heroin and arrested two persons, who are a couple and both of them are of Chennai origin. The couple had an import-export license, which is alleged to be used for illegal smuggling of heroin (semi-processed talc stones). Therefore, further investigation of this matter is also being done.

After the investigation and action taken by the Central Directorate of Intelligence i.e. DRI (Directorate of Revenue Intelligence), the investigating agency has been shared with the investigating agency NIA along with several important files containing many important information including statements of the arrested accused. In view of the seriousness of the way in which the role of many foreign terrorists, foreign drug smugglers and organizations has been seen in this case and the inputs related to it have been received in the investigation of the DRI so far, the Central Investigation Agency (NIA) has to be sent to this case. The responsibility of investigation has been entrusted.

A total of 8 accused have been arrested by the DRI in this case so far. According to the DRI, out of the accused arrested in Delhi and Greater Noida, four people of Afghanistan origin were arrested. After that, when their statement was recorded, then many important inputs have been received by the investigating agency. Based on this, the NIA team is conducting further investigation, due to which the DRI team is questioning many other people in many cities in detail on the connection between several smugglers-terrorist organizations related to this case. In this case, the NIA team has interrogated the accused of Afghanistan origin including Machavaram Sudhakaran, Durga PV Govind Raju, Rajkumar P and other arrested. The connections of the accused in this narcotics case are currently connected with many states including Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, Chennai, Uttar Pradesh, but now the investigating agency is engaged in investigating foreign connections in this investigation.
