Mujib: The Making of Nation movie released today in 152 theatres, Here’s Cast and Crew, review, box office collection
A film based on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, “Mujib: The Making of Nation” has released today (Friday, October 13) in Bangladesh and India. Arfin Shuvoo starrer movie runs in 152 theatres in the first day in Bangladesh. The number of theatres in India is not declared yet. Hope, it will be announce soon.
The India-Bangladesh co-produced biographical movie starts its production on January 21, 2021. The Shyam Benegal directorial “Mujib: The Making of a Nation” has officially scheduled to release on Friday, October 13, 2023.
As per the report, the first trailer of the movie has released on YouTube on October 1, 2023. Till now, the trailer got 342K views on Jaaz Multimedia’s YouTube Channel. Besides, the 1 minute 48 seconds length video has uploaded on NDFC India’s Channel. It has been cross 2 million views in the last 12 days.

People who heard about the Bangabandhu Biopic film, are quite excited to know about the cast and crew. Bangladeshi most popular actor, Afrin Shuvoo who featured in the couple of successful film in the last few years, played the lead role. Agnee, Kistimaat, Chuye Dile Mon movie actor played as Bangabandhu in this biopic.
Noted actor, Chanchal Chowdhury has seen as Bangabandhu’s father Sheikh Lutfur Rahman role. As we know that, the actor featured in the many successful movies including Monpura, Aynabai and most recently released Hawa, has played the important role in this film.
I closely saw that, Afrin Shuvoo worked very hard to potray Bangabandhu then his last movies, said Chanchal Chowdhury in a press conference held yesterday (October 12).
Most popular and gorgeous actress Nusraat Faria played as Bangabandhu’s elder daughter, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. On the other hand, Nusrat Imrose Tisha played Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib’s role in the biopic.
In addition, the movie also features Prarthana Dighi, Tauquir Ahmed, Fazlur Rahman Babu and others in the various roles.

Bangladesh government has produced the biopic which is the first time in Bangladesh Film Industry. Lead actor Afrin Shuvoo, Nusrat Imrose Tisha and trending actor Zayed Khan has taken only 1 taka as remuneration to work on the film.
Till now, there is no official announcement regarding the first day box office collection. As the movie has released today in 152 Bangladeshi theatres, it is assumed that the movie will make a new record in Bangladeshi Film. Hopefully, the box office details will be announced in the 2nd day.
