Puneeth Rajkumar, the power star of Kannada cinema, used to rule the hearts of fans around the world on the basis of his acting. Dr Rajkumar, the veteran actor of southern cinema, himself decided to donate the eyes of his entire family in 1994. He died on 12 April 2006 at the age of 76 due to heart attack and now Puneet has also died due to heart attack.

Actor Chetan Kumar gave this information by tweeting. He wrote in his post, ‘When I reached the hospital to see Appu sir, a team of doctors had reached there to remove his eyes. Just like Dr Rajkumar and Nimma Shivanna donated their eyes so did Appu sir. Chetan has also shared a photo of himself with actor Puneet in the post. Not only this, he also urged everyone to cooperate in eye donation.

Regarding the death of Puneet Rajkumar, it is said that first he exercised in the gym for two hours, after which suddenly he felt pain in his chest and was admitted to the hospital in Bangalore. After a few hours of getting him admitted at 11.40 am, the news of the actor’s death came, after which a wave of mourning ran all around. Everyone was shocked at his death and started expressing grief. Actors like Chiranjeevi, including PM Narendra Modi, expressed condolences to his family.

Not only this, Tamil Nadu CM Stalin has increased the security arrangements in the state in view of the crowd of fans after his death. Stalin told on his death that he was close to his family. He is deeply shocked by his death. The CM has described it as his personal loss.
