Asia Cup 2023 Bangladesh Squad: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the 17-member Bangladesh Team Squad for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup 2023 and Asia Cup. Minhajul Abedin Nannu, Chief Selector of BCB declared the squad in a press conference held on Saturday (August 12) morning.
As per the report, Tanzid Hasan Tamim 22-year-old opener has been called as the new face of Bangladesh Squad. But, there is no place for all-rounder Mahmudullah where Tanzid Hasan is added to the list.
All-Rounder Shakib Al Hasan will lead Bangladesh Team. The matter announced yesterday (August 11) that Shakib would be the captain for the upcoming ODI World Cup, New Zealand Series, and Asia Cup 2023.
According to the schedule, Asia Cup 2023 has set to begin on August 30, 2023, where the first match will be played between Pakistan and Nepal. Bangladesh Team play their first match against Sri Lanka on August 31, 2023.
