Mostafiz’s path was difficult for the Sunrisers

Mostafizur Rahman got 2 wickets for 22 runs in the previous match against Delhi Capitals. His team Rajasthan Royals could not win despite bowling well.

Today, Rajasthan had to accept the same fate against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Mostafiz took 1 wicket for 28 runs in 3.3 overs. Rajasthan Royals lost to Sunrisers by 7 wickets and made it difficult to reach the IPL play-offs.

Sunrisers chased down 164 runs for 5 wickets in Rajasthan. I never thought why Williamson’s team could be knocked out of the match. Sunrisers won the toss and elected to field.

Rajasthan are sixth in the table with 6 points in 10 matches. Sunrisers at the bottom of the table with 4 points in an equal match.

Mostafiz was attacked in the fourth over by Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson. The Bangladesh fast bowler gave a total of 9 runs after digesting two fours in that over. Then Rajasthan captain brought him back in the 13th over.

Mostafiz also got the wicket by returning Priyam Garg with 5 runs in that over. At the end of that over, Sunrisers needed 46 runs from 42 balls. Williamson and Abhishek Sharma on wickets. He was unbeaten on 21 off 30 balls.

Rajasthan could not break the unbroken pair of 46 runs from 33 balls in the end. Mostafiz gave only 4 runs back in the 18th over. In the 19th over, when the Sunrisers needed just seven runs off 12 balls to win, Samson brought Mostafiz back to do his last over.

Mostafiz bowled two fours off Williamson’s three balls to ensure Rajasthan’s loss in that over. Mahipal Lomro and Chetan Sakaria also took one wicket each for Rajasthan.

Earlier, Samson played a great innings for Rajasthan. He scored 82 runs off 56 balls with 3 sixes and 6 fours. Yashsvi Jaiswal made 36 runs from 23 balls. Sunrisers bowler Siddharth Kaul took 2 wickets for 36 runs.
