With ‘Sooryavanshi‘ currently ruling the box office, it seems that director Rohit Shetty is ready to revisit the film that started it all – Singham.

According to the latest reports, the director is ready to get the cameras rolling on the third part of the Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Singham’. Keeping up with its patriotic theme, the director is reportedly eyeing an Independence Day 2023 release, states a report on pinkvilla.com.

Buzz is that the film will pick up after the events of ‘Sooryavanshi’ and is touted to have Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh teaming up for the project. However, details on the same are yet to be confirmed.

It has been reported that the film will be set against the backdrop of the troubled Indo-Pak relationship and will likely have Kashmir in the centre of it.

Ajay opened up Shetty’s cop universe with ‘Singham’ that was set in Goa, followed by ‘Singham Returns’ which was set in Mumbai. This time around it has been reported that Devgn will cross borders to hunt down terror outfits.
