Ahead of their big fat Bollywood wedding, Aditya Seal and bride-to-be Anushka Ranjan hosted a lavish Sangeet ceremony which was graced by close friends, family and film stars.

Many of their close friends from the likes of Alia Bhatt to Vaani Kapoor, Athiya Shetty and Raveena Tandon were spotted in attendance. Following the night of merriment, videos and pictures from the grand event have been turning up online. Among the many videos is one of the young couple exchanging engagement rings.

The clip sees Aditya and Anushka standing in front of their guests and exchanging rings while pledging their love for each other. As the couple placed rigs on each other’s fingers, Beyonce‘s romantic song ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’ played in the background that earned hoots and cheers from all their guests.

The couple will take the plunge today after three days of festivities. They were in a relationship for the last four years before Aditya proposed to Anushka in Paris in October 2019.

In an interview with BT, Anushka opened up about her wedding plans saying, “I have never wanted a big fat wedding, and I am happy we are having a small celebration with close friends. Also, I am not someone who will fuss over her lehenga or take days to decide on songs for my sangeet! In fact, I was not really thinking of marriage now, but my sister suggested that if not now, when? I come from a family background where my parents had never made it mandatory to get married at a certain age. It was all about work and doing what I like.”

The couple also revealed that the feeling of getting married hasn’t sunk in yet. Aditya said, “It feels like I will move in with my girlfriend after a few days and embark on a new adventure. We wanted to get married sooner, but then we waited for the pandemic to get over. I used to live in Bandra earlier, but after my father passed away in the pandemic, I found an apartment in Anushka’s building, so my mother and I will be close to Anushka’s parents in Andheri.”
