Aryan Khan was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on October 29, however, he walked out of jail two days after the order was passed. The HC released the bail order on October 30 and immediately Aryan’s legal team started work on the release formalities. However, Shah Rukh Khan’s son had to spend another night in jail as the paperwork could not be completed on time.

Revealing the reason behind the delay, senior advocate Amit Desai informed ETimes, “Paperwork was delayed at Sessions Court and when the Release Memo was being typed the electricity of entire Court was tripped for almost 25 to 35 vital minutes.” Owing to this interruption, Aryan Khan’s release order could not be posted in the zamaanat (bail) box kept outside Arthur Road jail. The team missed the 5:30 pm deadline and Aryan had to spend another night in prison.

Soon after Aryan was released on bail by the HC, his legal team a statement, “No possession, No Evidence, No Consumption, No Conspiracy, Right from the First Moment when he was detained on 2nd Oct 2021 …. Nor is there anything as of now. We are grateful to Almighty that our prayers were accepted by Mr Justice Nitin Sambre and granted bail to Aryan.”

Aryan Khan was released on a PR Bond of Rs 1 lakh and Juhi Chawla had signed the surety for him. According to the Bombay High Court’s bail order, Aryan was asked to submit his passport before the Special Court and that he cannot leave the country without prior permission from the Special Judge for NDPS at Greater Mumbai. Every Friday, Aryan Khan will have to appear before the NCB at their Mumbai office. Aryan Khan has also been asked not to communicate with any co-accused involved directly or indirectly in similar activities and that he must not make any statement regarding the aforesaid proceedings pending before the Special Court in any form of media i.e. print media, electronic media etc. including social media.
