Amrita Rao recently crooned legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic tune ‘Tere Bina Jiya Jaye Na’ for hubby RJ Anmol and the video created a lot of buzz on the internet. When asked about her love for singing, she tells ETimes, “Singing is a part of my soul. Wherever I am and whatever I’m doing, you will always find me humming and singing”.
Talking about the time when she thought singing could have been a career option for her, she added, “My mom always thought I’d be a playback singer and all my co-stars cannot escape hearing some song from me unintentionally. When I started posting my singing on Instagram the comments have been insane. I promise to sing more regularly for my Insta fam now on”.
Interestingly, Amrita played the role of Lata Mangeshkar in ‘Meri Aawaz Hi Pehchan Hai’ which streamed on an OTT platform.
