NCB got Ananya’s name from Aryan’s WhatsApp chat. The NCB claims they talked about the drug on WhatsApp. So the NCB sent a summons to Ananya yesterday afternoon. Around four in the afternoon, they started interrogating Ananya. The Bollywood actress was interrogated by NCB officials for more than two hours.
In the presence of women officials, NCB Regional Director Sameer Bankheri interrogated Ananya. By law, women cannot be interrogated after sunset. So the NCB is going to interrogate Ananya again this afternoon. It is learned that NCB came to know the name of Sanaya Kapoor during the interrogation of Aryan. So they can also send a summons to Bollywood actress Jahnbi Kapoor’s cousin Sanaya.
NCB officials went to Ananya’s house in two vehicles yesterday afternoon. They went there to summon Ananya. Then at 3.45 pm Ananya went to the NCB office with her father Chunky Pandey.
Bibi Singh, the NCB’s investigating officer in the drug case, said Ananya was only being questioned about the case. That doesn’t mean he’s accused. During the interrogation, NCB wanted to know about the friendship between Aryan and Arbaaz Merchant. Besides, whether drugs were taken at the party or not. They also want to know about WhatsApp chat with Aryan from Ananya.
On October 20, the NCB told the court that they had recovered a drug-related WhatsApp chat between Aryan and a rising Bollywood actress. They did not reveal the name of the heroine to the court then. It became clear yesterday that the rising heroine is Ananya Pandey.
