Samantha Ruth Prabhu is undoubtedly one of the successful actresses in Tollywood. She is also often praised for her script-selecting sense. Sam is also one of the critically acclaimed actresses with over 30 awards for various roles in her movies in different languages so far, besides getting nominated for several others.

Currently, she has a ready-to-release Telugu film titled ‘Shaakuntalam’ where she is playing the titular role in the movie. She also has one Tamil film titled ‘Kaathuvakulla Rendu Kaadhal’, co-starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. The film is directed by Vignesh Shivan. She has now reportedly signed to shake a leg in a special number in Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’, directed by Sukumar.

In the massy Allu Arjun’s song, she will reportedly have to flaunt her glamour to which she is reportedly receiving Rs 1.5 crore to star in it. Few of her fans are now reportedly criticizing ‘The Family man 2’ actress for doing an item number just for the sake of a tempting paycheck.

Back then, Samantha once said that she will only pick films that give her job satisfaction, and that helps her excel as an actor with each role she picks, rather than just doing films for the sake of money. She also reportedly said that her family should feel proud of her roles. Now, one wonders why she is picking up item numbers, and what is so exciting and feeling proud thing in it!
