Love is in the air, there are weddings galore in the offing, and there’s some room for romance on the sets of Karan Johar‘s film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, too. But according to reports on a news portal, the film’s lead pair Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt may have cold feet about the on-screen intimacy.

News reports have suggested that this hesitancy to get intimate might stem from the fact that both Ranveer and Alia are well committed to their respective partners Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. It is because of their respective relationships that Ranveer-Alia, who have always had effortless on-screen chemistry (‘Gully Boy’ and the dozens of TV commercials) are considering giving the kissing scene in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani’ a miss.

While this conjecture has caught momentum online, what’s also perplexed fans is the fact that Ranveer Alia have actually shared an intimate moment on screen, in Gully Boy where they’ve already featured in a naïve and aesthetically shot kissing scene. Therefore, fans are finding it a little hard to accept that Ranveer-Alia will shy away from an on-screen moment in Karan Johar’s film.

‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani’ also features Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in important roles. The film is currently being shot in a long schedule in Delhi.
