It was announced late Wednesday night that BLACKPINK star Lisa tested positive for COVID-19. Following her positive status, concerned BLINKs enquired about fellow bandmates Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo‘s health.

Record label YG Entertainment, on Thursday, confirmed that the other three members of the K-Pop girl group have tested negative for COVID-19 and released an official statement regarding the same.

The statement published on Korean news portals read, “BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Rosé, and Jennie’s COVID-19 Real-Time RT-PCR test results came back as all negative.”

This confirmation comes just hours after the label assured that the band members were not classified as ‘close contacts’. However, as a precautionary measure, the three stars were made to take the PCR tests.

In the statement, the label revealed that Lisa, who received notice of her positive test results on November 24 KST, ahead of her filming schedule, is in “very good health with no suspected symptoms.”

“Wishing for Lisa’s speedy recovery, we will continue to cooperate with the epidemiological investigation by quarantine authorities and take all necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” the statement read.

This positive result comes even though the star had taken both her vaccines. The press note also confirmed, “all four BLACKPINK members have completed their COVID-19 vaccinations and our company and artists have been taking great caution in our health and safety through pre-emptive tests from time to time.”
