Diwali brought in a double bonanza for Katrina Kaif! First off her movie ‘Sooryavanshi’ set cash registers ringing at the box office and now, her wedding prep is also making headlines. Our bees exclusively revealed that Vicky and Katrina got engaged in a private and special roka ceremony at director Kabir Khan’s home in Mumbai. The ceremony took place on Diwali day as both families considered it to be an auspicious date. We would give an arm and a leg to know get at least one picture from the ceremony. But for now, our bees are hooked at Kat’s ring finger while we wait for the wedding of the Year!

Drowning the festive fevour at Mannat was Aryan Khan’s fever. The star son was summoned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday in connection with the cruise drugs case. However, Aryan Khan cited fever to skip the summons. SRK’s loyal manager Pooja Dadlani has also been summoned by the cops, but she too has sought some time. Moreover, Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik refuses to let Sameer Wankhede be and has made Twitter his home ground! Sprucing fresh allegations, Malik claimed that that Sameer Wankhede’s sister-in-law has a drug case pending against her in a Pune court. Supporting his claims, the minister shared a screenshot of the alleged case and said, “Here is the proof”.

And finally things are looking up for theatre owners and box office with Akshay Kumar’s grand opening at the ticket window. ‘Sooryavanshi’ smashed records with an opening of Rs 26 crore and finished off with a whopping Rs 77 crore at the end of its first weekend.
