There’s a meeting that is taking place between Boney Kapoor and AR Rahman which ETimes has learned about. It’s happening in Dubai and the two are obviously going to talk about working together in a couple of films shortly.

Actually, the meeting stems from Boney’s visit to Dubai which happened with his daughters Janhvi and Khushi accompanying him. The trio were recipients of a Golden Visa (on Boney’s birthday, November 11); in fact, Boney’s daughter Anshula and son Arjun, too, have been given the Golden Visa but could not make it as the latter was down with food poisoning and the former busy with Vishal Bhardwaj‘s shoot of ‘Kuttey‘, which also features Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, and Radhika Madan in main roles.

Back to Boney and AR Rahman. The music maestro has been in and out of Dubai since quite a few months due to Expo 2020 which he is a part of. The meeting between Boney and him is likely to happen either today, tomorrow, or perhaps on both days. So yes, Boney has stayed back in Dubai after Janhvi left for a holiday in the US and Khushi returned to Mumbai. A source says, “Both, Boney and AR Rahman, have a very healthy regard for each other”.

Boney is expected to return to Mumbai either on November 16 or 17.
