While they kick-started their pre-wedding festivities yesterday, reports are rife that their mehendi ceremony has already happened. Both Vicky and Katrina twinned in matching maroon outfits. While the actor opted for a maroon sherwani for the special occasion, the actress dolled up in a same shade outfit with pink floral design. The report also added that at the end of the ceremony, both Vicky and Katrina grooved to a few Bollywood songs like ‘Sheela Ki Jawaani’, ‘Chhaiya Chhaiya’ and ‘Bala’ among others, according to a report in Times Now.
Elaborating further, the report added that the mehendi setup was quite beautiful with a yellow-themed decor running throughout the courtyard of the Cortile restaurant. The report also suggested that only family members were present at the event, along with celebrities Kabir Khan, Mini Mathur and Neha Dhupia.
Meanwhile, earlier a source informed ETimes that the wedding preparations are in full swing on the groom’s side for quite some time now. A source told the publication that Vicky has a big, loving and warm Punjabi family on his side and his chacha, chachi, mama, mami are all looking forward to officially welcome Katrina into the family.
The source further added, “While it’s going to be a private, intimate affair, the celebrations are still going to be grand. They have spared no expense to ensure that they make their special day a memorable one!”
Katrina and Vicky have a strict no-phone policy for their guests so that no pictures and videos from the ceremony get leaked on social media. The couple has also reportedly made their guests sign non disclosure agreements.
