Amitabh Bachchan has ruled hearts with his ace acts and impressive performances on the big screen. But before venturing into films, Big B had other plans. Did you know Amitabh Bachchan was keen to become a pilot?

Speaking on his game show, Amitabh Bachchan shared, “When I was a child I wanted to become a pilot and join the air force. Lekin humari maa ko darr lagta hai ki hum hawai jahaz udayengi (But my mother was scared of my flying a plane). Lekin ek baat mujhe bhi lagti thi, mujhe aise laga ki mere tange lambi hai toh airplane mein kaise ghunsunga (Even I felt that my legs are so long, how would I enter an airplane?)”. While Big B’s plans didn’t workout, it was Bollywood’s gain as the audience got a gem of an actor!

On the work front, Big B has a long list of movies in his kitty. He will soon be seen in ‘Brahmastra’, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. This sci-fi drama is directed by Ayan Mukerji and also features Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Apart from this Big B has Nagraj Manjule’s ‘Jhund’, Ajay Devgn’s ‘Mayday’, ‘The Intern’ remake with Deepika Padukone and ‘Goodbye’ with Rashmika Mandanna. Big B has also signed up to play a pivotal role in Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s next untitled venture.
