Rani Mukerji recently revealed that Shah Rukh Khan and she were scolded by the late Yash Chopra during the ‘Veer Zara’ shoot as they could not evoke a father-daughter feeling for each other.

In an interaction with Kapil Sharma on his comedy chat show, the actress said that she had always done romantic scenes with Shah Rukh and it was difficult not to do the same in ‘Veer Zara’. According to the actress, she just wanted to look into SRK’s eyes and romance him. However, instead, they were expected to evoke a father-daughter feeling. They both just kept laughing until the late filmmaker reprimanded them.

While Shah Rukh played an old man languishing in jail on false charges, Rani essayed the role of his young lawyer. The film also starred Preity Zinta in a lead role. It also featured actors like Divya Dutta, Kirron Kher, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Manoj Bajpayee in key roles.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He also has Atlee’s commercial entertainer and Rajkumar Hirani’s immigration drama.

Rani, on the other hand, will next be seen in ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ co-starring Saif Ali Khan. The movie also features Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh in key roles.

The actress also has ‘Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway’ in her kitty.
