Karan Johar’s sequel to ‘Dostana’ created quite a lot of buzz when it was announced. The fans were looking forward to Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan‘s onscreen chemistry but, earlier this year, Dharma Productions announced that the actor will not be a part of ‘Dostana 2‘ anymore.
While there was no official reason, speculation was rife that there was a fallout between Kartik and Karan. Recently, at an event, the actor refused to comment on ‘Dostana 2′ and stated that he is not a part of any Bollywood camps. He has reached this point in his career because of his talent and will do the same in the future.
‘Dostana 2’ was set to feature Janhvi, Kartik and newbie Lakshya in the leading roles. However, Dharma Productions issued a statement announcing a recast of the film in April this year, there will be a recasting of ‘Dostana 2’, directed by Collin D’Cunha.
