Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal‘s royal wedding is shrouded in secrecy and it all a part of a bigger plan. The couple’s fans will get a detailed, inside view of the wedding but through a streaming platform. According to mid-day, Katrina and Vicky have sold the telecast rights of their wedding to Amazon Prime Video for Rs 80 crore. Because of this whopping deal, Katrina and Vicky got their guests also to sign NDAs so that nothing from the wedding is leaked before it is streamed on OTT.

Vicky and Katrina’s wedding series will capture their romance from friends to their roka ceremony and will also include the four-day gala celebration in Rajasthan. Vicky and Katrina’s wedding video will reportedly debut on the digital platform in early 2022. Interestingly, back in 2019, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had also struck a deal with an OTT giant to document their wedding for a series.

As part of the NDAs, guests have been requested to maintain privacy and refrain from leaking any pictures from the venue. A note shared with the guests read, “We request you to please leave your mobile phones in your respective rooms and refrain from posting pictures or using social media for any of the ceremonies and events.” Apart from discouraging the use of mobile phones, Vicky and Katrina have also got secret codes in place for their 120 guests.

Post their big fat Punjabi wedding at Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Vicky and Katrina will return to their professional commitments. The couple will reportedly not have a honeymoon. Katrina has to resume the shoot for Vijay Sethupati’s film while Vicky will report on the sets of Dinesh Vijan’s movie. Previously, a source had informed ETimes, “Both Vicky and Katrina are committed to completing their films on time so there won’t be a honeymoon right after. Katrina will be back on her film set after the wedding.”
