Karan Johar took to Instagram to announce the next film ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’, backed by his production house, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor. Sharing the motion poster of the film, he wrote, “One dream, chased by two hearts. Presenting #MrAndMrsMahi, directed by Sharan Sharma who is back with another heart-warming story to tell with his touch of magic! Starring Rajkummar Rao & Janhvi Kapoor, a partnership to look forward to. See you on the field aka the cinemas on 7th October, 2022.”
The poster revealed that Rajkummar will be playing the character of Mahendra while Janhvi is Mahima in the film. Also, it is sure that the film’s story is related to cricket. Check out the video here:
With this, Rajkummar and Janhvi will be reuniting after ‘Roohi’ which was released in March this year.
Helmed by ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ fame Sharan Sharma, the film has been slated to release on October 07, 2022.
