After dating for more than a decade, lovebirds Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa finally tied the knot on Monday in a private ceremony held in Chandigarh with the presence of their close family members and friends.

Sharing first pictures from the much-awaited Bollywood wedding, Rajkummar Rao wrote on social media, “Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband @patralekhaa Here’s to forever .. and beyond ❤️”

Sharing more candid moments from the ceremony Patralekhaa added in another post, “I got married to my everything today; my boyfriend, my partner in crime, my family, my soulmate…My best friend for the last 11 years! There is no greater feeling than to be your wife!Here’s to our forever…”

Soon after this, fans and Bollywood stars took to their social media handles to extend their best wishes to the just married couple. Priyanka Chopra wrote, “I’m not crying you are crying! Congratulations 🥳 wohoooo.” Anil Kapoor added, “Congratulations my friends .. wish I could be there in Chandigarh to celebrate ..see you’ll soon as mr and Mrs Rajkumar Patralekha when back in mumbai .. ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

Meanwhile, fans can’t stop praising the newlywed couple. Going by the pictures, Patralekhaa opted for a traditional red saree with golden zari work over it. She elevated her look with a matching red dupatta with Bengali scripts imprinted on the borders that read, “Amar poran bhora bhalobasa ami tomay somorpon korilam (I surrender my love filled heart to you).” She finished off her look with golden bridal jewellery. Rajkummar, on the other hand, exuded elegance in an ivory sherwani set.
