Samantha Ruth Prabhu has joined the cast of Welsh director Philip John’s upcoming film ‘Arrangements of Love’. According to an international news portal, the actress will essay the role of a strong headed bisexual Tamil woman who runs her own detective agency. This film is an adaptation of 2004 novel ‘Arrangements of Love’ by Indian author Timeri N Murari.

Actress Lakshmi Manchu took to Instagram to hail Samantha’s career move and wrote, “You go girl! @samantharuthprabhuoffl This is just the beginning. I cannot wait for you to scorch the international screen as well. Here’s to doing roles that are not through other people’s morality. Live your own truth.” Replying to Lakshmi, Samantha wrote, “Thank you for your support my love @lakshmimanchu.”

Announcing the movie on social media, Samantha had previously shared, “A whole new world….. I last auditioned in 2009 for Ye Maya chesave . 12 years later , and auditioning again, I felt the very same nervousness…. I guess it’s not everyday you get to audition for a BAFTA award winning , critically acclaimed, director of your most favourite series ‘Downton Abbey’. Jumping for joy that you picked me sir #PhilipJohn .. Thankyou @sunitha.tati @gurufilms1 for the opportunity.. can’t wait to start this exciting journey !!” ‘Arrangements of Love’ is scheduled to go on floors in August 2022.
