Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are celebrating 12 years of togetherness today. The couple faced a tough time in the past few months and has decided on a low-key wedding anniversary celebration. According to Pinkvilla, Shilpa and Raj have planned for a quiet romantic dinner at their own restaurant in Worli.

Previously, Shilpa had penned a loving note wishing Raj on their wedding anniversary. The actress had shared priceless pictures from their wedding rituals and penned on Instagram, “This moment and day 12 years ago, we made and continue to fulfil a promise; of sharing the good times & bearing the hard times, of trusting in love & God to show us the way… side by side, day by day. 12 years and not counting… Happy Anniversary, Cookie! Here’s to many more rainbows, laughter, milestones, and our prized possessions… our children. Heartfelt gratitude to all our well-wishers, who have been with us through thick and thin.” Shilpa and Raj had tied the knot on November 22, 2009. The turned parents to son Viaan in 2012 and welcomed daughter Samisha, born via surrogacy in 2020.

In July this year, Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai police for his alleged involvement in production and distribution of pornographic content. After two months in jail, the 45-year-old business walked out on bail in September. Since then, Raj Kundra has been keeping a low profile, avoiding any public appearances.
