The awesome twosome dropped the romantic track titled ‘Tip Tip Song‘. As many of you guessed, this is the remixed version of the iconic 1994 track ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani‘ that featured originally featured Akshay with Raveena Tandon in the movie ‘Mohra‘.
It was reported that director Rohit Shetty acquired the rights of the hit track and reimagined it with Akki and Kat. For this remake, Kat ditched the iconic yellow saree for a shimmery silver sequin number as she danced in the rain and romanced her leading man.
During the promotion of the film on the Kapil Sharma show, the two were asked, “While shooting with Akshay pajji in ‘Sooryavanshi’ you romanced and slapped him as well. Which scene had more retakes?”
Katrina replied to this, saying, “There was no retake in the slapping scene, it was shot at one go.”
Akshay continued,, “It happened in reality. Because the gaps can be seen in a shot, she slapped me in reality.”
When asked to spill the details about shooting their romantic scenes and the number of retakes it required, Kaif said, “We don’t do many retakes in romantic scenes as I and Akshay have perfect tuning.”
According to the latest box office reports, ‘Sooryavanshi’ is on its way to becoming Akshay’s highest-grossing film. The early estimates suggest that the film could earn between Rs 25- Rs 30 crore on day one.
