The stage is set for the wedding of the year as Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are gearing up for dreamy nuptials in Rajasthan. ETimes had exclusively revealed that the couple had a hush-hush engagement on Diwali day and the wedding is set for next month at a resort in Sawai Madhopur. And now, according to Bollywoodlife.com, it was Katrina Kaif who insisted on a December wedding since she wanted to marry in Rajasthan. According to the report, Vicky was keen to marry in May 2022, after wrapping his professional commitments, but during the summers Rajasthan wouldn’t be an apt wedding venue due to the heat waves. Katrina reportedly wants a royal outdoor wedding and only a chill December can accommodate her dreamy plans.

As Bollywood drowned in festive fevour last week, Katrina and Vicky exchanged rings during a private and special roka ceremony. Their engagement was hosted at director Kabir Khan’s home in Mumbai. Sources have revealed to ETimes that Vicky and Katrina opted to travel in different cars to avoid the paparazzi and media attention. The ceremony was an intimate affair with only family members in attendance. While Vicky had his brother Sunny and parents, Kat was accompanied by her sister Isabelle and mom Suzanne.
