Once Zayn Malik had revealed that he thought superstar Shah Rukh Khan was ‘slightly arrogant’. In an old interview, the singer had praised Shah Rukh for his humbleness.

Back in 2015, SRK met Zayn when he had attended the Asian Awards in London. The ‘Let Me‘ singer was accompanied by his sister Doniya Malik. Both Khan and Doniya had shared pictures on their respective social media handles.

In an interaction with Elle India, Zayn had said that he personally wasn’t a huge fan until he met SRK. He realised how humble he is and showed a different side to him. Malik further added that he always came across as slightly arrogant in the movies to him but when he met him in real life, he was nice and it completely changed his opinion of him.

The ‘Fan’ actor had shared the photo with Zayn. He had captioned it, “This kid is so cool. May Allah bless him. Dinner time at the Asian Awards.” The photo became the most retweeted picture in India in 2015.

Meanwhile, Zayn continues to be in the news after his feud with his ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid‘s mother, Yolanda. He issued a statement on his Twitter handle. He said, ”In an effort to protect that space for (his daughter Khai) I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.”
