Wedding fever has gripped B-town and the big fat Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif wedding is all that anyone is talking about.

ETimes broke the news about the couple getting hitched and we also got you the details about the wedding festivities taking place at Six Sense Fort in Rajasthan. We also told you that the couple’s hectic work schedules are preventing them from flying out into the sunset on a honeymoon.

But, according to the latest scoop, Vicky and Katrina may just head out on a short holiday after they wrap up wedding festivities. A report on pinkvilla.com states that the couple has set their sights on a tropical getaway to the Maldives. This is likely to happen after the couple hosts their grand Bollywood style reception at a five-star hotel in the city.

Considering that Kat is known to be quite the beach bum, this getaway comes as no surprise.

ETimes reported that the couple will delay their honeymoon owing to their respective projects and hectic schedules preventing them from jetting off on a long holiday together. A source informed us, “Both Vicky and Katrina are committed to completing their films on time so there won’t be a honeymoon right after. Katrina will be back on her film set after the wedding. She has Tiger 3 (with Salman Khan) in the making and Sriram Raghavan’s next with Vijay Sethupathi. Shoot of both is likely to resume in December soon after the wedding.”

Vicky and Kat will commence their wedding festivities tonight with a sangeet ceremony. It will be followed by a Mehendi tomorrow for which nearly 20 kg of “organic Mehendi” powder has been supplied from Sojat town of Rajasthan’s Pali district.

“We have supplied organic Mehendi to the event management company for the wedding functions. We have supplied the Mehendi free of cost as a gift from Sojat, Pali,” Nitesh Aggarwal, owner of the Sojat-based Mehendi processing and manufacturing firm Natural Herbal, told PTI.

The celebrations will culminate with the nuptials on Thursday and will be followed by a grand party for their guests.
