The ‘Uri’ actress shares that the plan is to spend the entire day with the family and take breaks in between shoots. She shares that her mom is flying down from Chandigarh, and looks forward to it with excitement as they would be travelling to another town. The actress also added that her in-laws will be there too, and they’d all be celebrating the special together.
The actress also feels that her idea of a ‘grand celebration’ is a little different. Elaborating further, the ‘Bhoot Police’ actor says she’s very ‘old school’ — she loves celebrating the day with her family and closed ones. Well she also enjoys the combination of a working birthday and getting wished so many times on a set.
When asked how she’s looking back to her showbiz journey, the actress told the portal that she ‘feels good’. She shares that more than the volume of work, it’s the quality of scripts, the types of characters that are coming her way now is making her feel ‘really excited’. “I always believe in quality over quantity, but when it is a combination of both”
On the work front, Yami will next be seen in ‘Dasvi’ co-starring Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles. Apart from that, she also has Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury‘s next film where she will be seen essaying the role of a journalist.
