B.1.1.529 or Omicron – the latest variant of Covid-19 has already been designated by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a variant of concern, owing to its several mutations. Though it is yet to be ascertained whether Omicron is more transmissible as compared to other variants like Delta or what its exact level of severity, but the spurt in number of cases in South Africa has certainly rung an alarm all over the world. We spoke with prophesier and astrologer Pandit Jagannath Guruji, who had in 2020 rightly predicted that maximum number of active cases in India that year would be registered between August and October.

On the basis of astrological calculations combined with planetary combinations and his own learning, the prophesier believes that “the third wave of Covid has already started, though it is still in its preliminary stage”. He added, “When we near the end of December, the impact of the new variant is set to intensify and would continue to remain the same at least till the end of March next year.”

When asked if the situation would by any chance be similar to the mayhem that the pandemic unleashed earlier this year, what the astrologer said came as a sigh of relief. “There were multiple factors that led to havoc we witnessed in 2021, of which the foremost was lack of preparedness and vaccination. Thankfully, a good chunk of the population is now vaccinated or getting vaccinated as we speak. Governments and authorities across the world are also taking all precautionary measures, including travel directives. Hence, it is very unlikely for the situation to turn that severe, but the onus is on the people now to follow all covid protocols,” he Pandit Jagannath Guruji.

The astrologer & prophesier has also said that there would be many more variants that would come into existence and each would have its own significant impact on mankind. He further believes that many new vaccines and booster shots would need to be taken in future in view of expected multiple mutations of different Covid variants. As far as the new variant is concerned, it is definitely not as fatal as what we have encountered already.
