As per the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting and diarrhea are the common symptoms for Omicron associated COVID-19 infections. Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness, it has said.

The UK’s National Health Service (NHS) says the main symptoms of COVID-19 are high temperature, a new or continuous cough and loss or change to sense of smell or taste.

With this and as per the data available from other official sources, it can be seen that the symptoms developed due to an infection from the Omicron variant of COVID-19 is much similar to the symptoms standardized earlier.
