Caught between running a gallery of her own and clicking pictures of far away towns and cities, she hardly finds time to think about the life that she left behind to manifest her dreams. However, 20 years later on a Christmas day, she finds herself grounded and unoccupied because of a grave medical condition. Due to this, she employs an assistant to help her out in her daily life. As she finds a bond developing between her assistant and herself, she pours her heart out about her first and only love and how she wants to find the child that she gave up.

Heart-warming, tear-jerking, exciting, saddening but wholesome, ‘The Wish’ by Nicholas Sparks leaves out no emotion for its reader to experience. The story proves the author’s statement “And in the end, isn’t that the most important thing in life? To be truly known and loved by someone you’ve chosen?” This romance novel will surely warm your heart this winter.
