Noida. The traffic police of Gautam Buddha Nagar has issued 24 lakh challans in the last 4 years. These challans have been deducted for violating traffic rules. Fines worth crores of rupees have also been recovered from 24 lakh challans. Some other equipment including cranes have also been purchased with the amount of fine. This has been revealed in an RTI. But despite all this, the traffic conditions on the roads remain the same. Vehicles are parked on the side of the road. Office-goers face traffic jams in the morning and evening. Even worse, the situation is in Sector-18 and Ashok Nagar. There is bound to be jam on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway in the morning and evening. A similar situation prevails at Parichowk throughout the day.

Amit Gupta, a resident of Noida, had sought some information from the traffic police of UP through RTI regarding the traffic system of Gautam Buddha Nagar. This information also includes information about e-challans deducted on the roads. According to RTI, from April 2018 to September 2021, about 24 lakh challans were issued in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. The figure from 2018 to 2021 is something like this.

314001 e-challans were made from 1st April, 2018 to December 2018.

In the 2 year 2019, 934000 e-invoices were generated.

724000 e-invoices were made in 3 years 2020.

3 In the current year 2021 till September 461001 e-challans have been generated.

Atta market did not improve even after deducting the invoice 7 Hall of X Society

If we talk about Noida, then there are some areas where there has been no improvement in the traffic situation for many years. The most important in this is Atta Bazar. Sushil Kumar Jain, president of Progressive Committee Foundation, associated with the market, told Hindi that most of the traffic jams in the market are due to two-wheelers and e-rickshaws. Wherever there is a will, the e-rickshaws are parked. The same is true of two wheeler drivers who come to the market to shop. They also park their vehicle anywhere.

Leave aside the market, the traffic system on the service road in residential areas is also in bad shape. In 7X society, it becomes difficult to take a vehicle on the road. Leave by vehicle in Ashok Nagar, you cannot walk properly. Due to road resurfacing work on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway for the past several months, jamming in the morning and evening has become the fate of the expressway.
