After Pakistan’s victory in the India-Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup last Sunday, Rashid Abdul, a resident of Pipar city, expressed the happiness of this victory on his WhatsApp status. Tagging his status, another young man asked… what happened, why are you celebrating, why India has lost so what? The answer given by Rashid Abdul on this was shocking. He wrote in response that yes… very happy….today. After that the person asking the question answered that then why do you live here…?

Outrage spread when the screen shot went viral
When the screen shot of the conversation between the two youths on social media later went viral, there was outrage among the people in Pipar regarding this matter. After that a young man named Mahendra Tak gave a complaint to the Pipad police station regarding this. On this, the police arrested the accused youth and presented him in the court. From there he was sent to jail in judicial custody.

Court did not grant bail to the accused
The bail application was presented on behalf of Rashid Abdul before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate of Pipar on Wednesday. But the court dismissed the matter considering it serious. The court considered the remarks made by accused Rasheed Abdul on social media very serious and refused to grant bail.

This argument was presented in the court on behalf of the accused youth.
It was argued on behalf of the accused in the court that he is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Commenting on this, the court said that looking at the letters it becomes clear that the accused has tried to incite the feelings of anti-national and harmony. Apart from this, Mahendra Tak has also been threatened. As such, he cannot be granted bail.
