On Thursday, Preity Zinta took to her Instagram handle to inform her fans that she welcomed twins via surrogacy. The actress posted a cute picture with her husband Gene Goodenough and also revealed the names of her newborns – Jai and Gia.

As soon as she shared the post, fans and Bollywood stars showered love on the newborn babies and their parents. Preity has named her son – Jai. It’s an Indian origin name that means “victorious”, “conqueror”. She named her newborn daughter Gia, which is an Italian origin name that means ‘God is gracious.’

The post was captioned as, ”Hi everyone, I wanted to share our amazing news with all of you today. Gene & I are overjoyed & our hearts are filled with so much gratitude & with so much love as we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough & Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family. We are very excited about this new phase in our lives. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and to our surrogate for being part of this incredible journey.
