“As a parent, it does feel like Ahan’s birthday. He is stepping into a new world, where receiving acceptance is actually a long way,” shares Suniel Shetty speaking exclusively to ETimes after attending the premiere of his son Ahan’s debut film ‘Tadap’.

When asked about he feels as a parent as well as an actor for Ahan’s debut film, the actor confessed that he’s quite anxious. “I am praying that my son gets accepted in showbiz. So far the trailers and the songs are doing extremely well. People have been showering with so much love and support. But yeah, as a parent, I am anxious too,” he admitted, continuing, “I am looking forward to this budding new actor. I’ve seen the film, I am happy with it, but yeah Ahan’s happiness matters the most to me”.

When asked about Ahan being nervous, Sunil shares that his son was worried during the pandemic, prepping for the role and things in between. He added, he loved how much effort and handwork his son has put to make his character look authentic and real.

Speaking about the advice he gave Ahan, Suniel reveals, “I have always told Ahan that he can strive to be a brilliant actor, but he has to be a brilliant human before that. I tell him that God has given him an opportunity, and to make the most of it, because the little things and gestures that you do for others are always appreciated. These things can go a long way”.

Speaking of ‘Tadap’, the movie is all set to have a theatrical release tomorrow. Helmed by Milan Lutharia and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film stars Tara Sutaria as the leading lady opposite Ahan.
